We are desparate for railway track and old sets. In two weeks time we will be showing the effect of moving the pendulum with different motions. We hope to control them so they go into different modes of behavour.
First at differt speeds, showing inertia and momentum, the two biggies
Then different accellerations
Round the bend and circular motion, making them come of the track
Back and forward to get to go into oscillation.
We will also hopefully be able to rig up the Video gear to show the relative frames and all.
Then we move onto multitrack systems, multi linked pendulums, how to get an inverted pendulum to behave.
All we need is your old unwanted model railway kits, dusty, never used, but full of potential.
